Community service is at the heart of who we are. As students and graduates of Notre Dame we come to learn that service to others in our communities is a vital and rewarding part of being good, active citizens. The Notre Dame Club of Denver believes that our Notre Dame family, in Denver and the surrounding area, and our community members alike benefit greatly and in many different ways from our commitment to service.
In 2008 and 2009 we participated in many events, some traditional - that we are involved in every year and others that are new to the club. A recap of some of those events includes:

HESBURGH MONTH OF SERVICE
May is the month to honor Ft. Ted Hesburgh and the Notre Dame family is joining together by performing acts of community service to fulfill Fr. Ted's Birthday wishes. Won't you join in?
- Donate Blood to Bonfils - let's collect as many pints as possible to honor Fr. Hesburgh's for his birthday. Visit www.bonfils.org for donation information. Be sure to mention our club code 2630 when you donate.
- Participate in Project C.U.R.E. - Join us on Monday, May 10 to pack medical supplies for needy countries. Learn more by clicking here.
Events planned for 2010 include:
- Angels Among Us – every December
- Project C.U.R.E. – the second Monday of each month
- Happy Hour Fundraiser to benefit Loyola Catholic Grade School – Friday, February 5th
- Annunciation Catholic Grade School Rummage Sale – May, 2010
The school is looking for donations for its Spring Festival Rummage Sale! If you have any household items, toys, or furniture you want to donate, please consider Annunciation! This is one of our many Catholic Schools in the area that need your help in many different ways. The Spring Rummage Sale and Festival will be held in May, but donations will be accepted at any time! All donations can be dropped off at Annunciation, c/or Sr. Jean or Sarah Grey. To contribute, or if you have questions, contact Sarah Grey - sarah.e.bates@gmail.com
New community service event ideas are always welcome, as are new volunteers.
